3. Custom Asphalt Mix Installation:
The heart of the process lies in the installation of a custom-designed asphalt mix. For standard residential driveways, unwanted material is excavated, and a 4”-6” stone base is laid. A compressed Type 7f residential asphalt mix, approximately 2”-3” thick, is applied. For parking lots, heavier roller compaction equipment and a larger 6f asphalt stone material are used, enhancing traffic endurance and durability. A-Top Asphalt Paving tailors each project, considering factors like thickness and layer requirements based on customer or inspector specifications.

4. Resurfacing Expertise:
Resurfacing offers a cost-effective alternative to new pavement installation. A-Top Paving excels in resurfacing projects, employing overlays (milling) on existing pavements. Surface preparation includes cleaning, applying a tack coat for adhesion, and paving per overlay specifications. The result is a fresh asphalt overlay with leveling courses to even out surfaces and uniform courses for the required thickness.

5. Removal and Replacement:
In cases of improper preventive maintenance or sub-base deficiencies, removal and replacement of pavement become essential. A-Top Paving addresses severe sub-base issues through partial or complete removal of both pavement and sub-base materials, ensuring a solid foundation for the new asphalt surface.
